At any given time, there are a handful of motivated college students and recent graduates in the D+P internship program. We recently connected with Chris Vogt, one of our summer interns, for a quick Q&A session. Read on below to learn more about Chris!
Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
I’m currently a junior at Temple University majoring in communications and entrepreneurship. I
am a brother of the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi, involving myself in many
committees such as rush and process committees. I love to make music and direct photography
and videography in my spare time, as well as reading and hanging out with my friends.
Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, positive and introverted.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a musician when I was growing up, because I have always loved listening to
music and making music. I loved the idea of touring the world and making something for people
that would make them feel happy.
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I love to travel and always have ever since I was a kid. My lifelong dream ever since I was little
has been to travel the world and visit as many countries and cultures as possible.
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
A piece of advice I would give my younger or high school self is to enjoy the things that you
enjoy or want to enjoy. I used to be very worried about what people would think if I wore this or
liked this or did this, whatever it was. I am my most authentic self in my life at the moment, and
I wish I could have been like this back then and known that caring about what people will judge
me for is a waste of time.
